pretty good

hi, i downloaded the mac version of the game and when i open it says "“Teal” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.", can someone help me? :(

I actually liked the game, but I got stuck.

Well, that is a softlock. Sorry about that. I'll try to ensure that the same does not occur in my future projects.

I really didn't think I had locked it in the video. I got it when you said it.

i cant get past this level can someone pls help

I also got stuck here. Put the 2 boxes on either side in the middle of the energy bridge. Then use the third box to activate the switch, when the bridge dissapears the boxes will push against each other, so you can jump on them.

I thought it was a very fun game i did stop half way threw cause there was no motivation to keep going

Make a 32bit version pls :<

Okay I did

-MK

Tks for the 32bit

Very fun puzzle platformer. I especially liked the rooms where you had to switch the gravity. Can't wait to see what you develop in the future.

Thank you! Though I do believe you forgot to change the genre in the video description (Teal isn't a horror game)

Can't pass this level

You have gravity switchers and 3 boxes in that room. There is also an energy field that can be removed. Wonder what would happen if 2 boxes were on either side of the energy field and the energy field got removed?

mmm I was thinking about that, but since u need a box to be on the purple switch, you only have 2 boxes left and I can't get anything with just those, I'll keep trying tho tyty

If you position the 2 boxes in the middle of the energy bridge, one on either side, then use the 3rd box on the purple switch, the energy bridge will disappear and the 2 boxes will push against each other in mid air and give you a platform to jump across to the switch.

fuck man how didnt I realise that, it looks so obvious now! hahah :(

There's quite a few puzzles like that. As soon you figure it out it seems so obvious.

I really love this game its really nice but i can't get through undisplacement. Does anyone know hoe to get through?

Unfortunately, itch.io comments don't seem to support spoiler tags, so I can't say here. However, you can use the hint guide (link in description, I just added it).

How do you catch the box???

I like the creativity in this game, but the booby trap bit felt too roblox obby in a game with mechanics like this. being able to dash around would've been cool too, to make it feel like the map isn't so humungus and maybe to add some more depth to other possible puzzles. 10/10 would play teal 2.

There are some really excellent puzzles here. It's the kind of experience you can come back to in 20 minutes and suddenly something makes sense where it didn't before and that makes the experience thoroughly enjoyable.

There were times I would like to have had the character move a little faster.

I also managed to get soft locked in "Unclear Purposes" because I dropped down on the wrong side of the box.

Currently stuck on Above The Clouds/ Fling Yourself.

Really great stuff so far. Thank you!

Thank you very much for the feedback!

I recognize that the walk speed may be a little too slow. I'll be sure to take that into account for future projects.

Also, that's not a softlock. You can jump and grab the box (hit X when you're at about the same position relative to the box as you would be normally).

I hope you enjoy the rest of the game!

And replayed and you are correct. No softlock I just wasn't  quick enough on the X key.

Got Game Clear :)

The coin seen in "Reach Up High", is it obtainable?  And the "Coin X 8>>>" in Conditional Logic, does that allude to there being 8 of them to collect total to unlock a different ending?  And the same with the Constellation and the room with 5 or 6 floor switches...I never found a use for them this go round.

Edit: Okay... I am collecting coins now. Accede I figured out. Guess I'm replaying the whole thing :)

Overall some fantastic puzzles! Some real head scratchers that suddenly become obvious after some thought and experimentation. The only minor frustration I had were on some of the "twitchier" puzzles (Catch, and the one where you have to move between the 3 buttons to get the box to fall). The pacing I thought was really good.

Looking forward to your next release!

I believe your suspicions are correct. Good luck with what remains.

Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^^

-The concept of the game is nice.

-The gameplay mechanics for the puzzles are easy to get into and fun.

-The level design is interesting and gives the game a little "metroidvania" touch.

-I think the difficulty curve of the puzzles has some spikes on it, but that could be just my fault.

-The visual style of the game is nice and has some good retro vibes ^^

Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Thank you for the feedback; glad you've enjoyed my game!

I'm glad the level design and visual style seem to have worked cohesively.

I recognize that I'm not always good at judging the difficulty of puzzles; sorry about that.

Thanks for the YT video as well.
